Basket Knit Square
I am so happy to be apart of the "Charity Cozy Fall MAL" and share my first knit written pattern with you. The Basket Knit pattern has been one of my favorite patterns and therefore, when I was presented with the opportunity to make a knit square pattern, that is what came to my mind first. I love the basket knit pattern because it is easy and quick to make and the texture is amazing. It is also warm and cozy, making it the perfect pattern for a blanket or afghan.
The Charity cozy Fall Mal is organized by Hortense of Knitting with Chopsticks and Noor’s Knits have put together crochet, knit, and Tunisian 8” x 8” square patterns from other designers that you can use to make a cozy blanket or afghan. All squares use weight 4 yarn. To use a different yarn, please check with the designers to make sure it is recommended.
The squares are released each day and shared on the designer’s blog. There is also an option of buying the bundle, of which 30% will be donated to Cure Childhood Cancer. You can purchase each individual square bundle or all the squares as one bundle.
