Carolyn’s Pearl Crochet Scarf
Gemstone Crochet Scarf Pattern Collection
Carolyn’s Pearl Crochet Scarf is sixth scarf in “The Gemstone Crochet Scarf Collection” of 2022. In this collection, I have a new crochet scarf every month based on the color of the birthstone for that month and any of my children or nieces born in that month. This month the scarf color is pearl.

Yarn
For this scarf, I used WeCrochet’s Galileo yarn in Pearl. I had to look around for sometime before I got exactly what I was looking for. Also, pearl color is not readily available as other color of yarns.
I wanted the scarf to be light and airy and have drape to it. So I was going for yarn weight 2 or 3, so when I saw this yarn, I knew that is what I wanted. This is a weight 3 yarn but on the heavier side.
I have not used Galileo yarn before but I love how the scarf turned out. It is perfect for summer evenings and fall and I would use it again
Before I decided on the pattern, I knew I wanted a lace pattern. I wanted to make something I could use in the spring, summer, and fall. I chose a pattern with chains and shells as this gives the scarf the fabric that is suitable for the cool and hot weather. The scarf turned out exactly as I had envisioned. It is soft, light, airy, and flows just as I wanted.
