Abbreviations (US terms)

Ch - chain

Hdc - half double crochet

Notes

  • The pattern is written in Standard US Terms

  • Turn after each row

  • Ch 2 at the beginning of the row does not count as a st

  • The rows are worked part in hdcblo and part in hdc

  • The glove is made as one piece, then sewn together on both sides leaving a hole in the middle for the thumb.



    Free Pattern for Crochet Fingerless Gloves

    Row 1: hdc 3rd ch from hook and each ch to end, turn 21, (23, 25, 27) sts.

    Rows 2 - 15, (16, 17, 18): ch 2, hdc in 1st st, hdcblo in each st to last st, hdc in last st, turn 21, (23, 25, 27) sts. 

    Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing off

Seam the top 8, (9, 10, 11)  sts together and the bottom 9, (10, 10, 10) leaving the middle opening for the thumb.
