Yarn
I used Bernat Softee Baby Cotton 60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic 254 yds (232 m), 4.2 oz (120 g) in Cotton and Feather Grey. This was perfect because it is a DK (weight 3) yarn and I was looking for a bucket hat that was light and airy. It is also a cotton blend yarn which makes it even more lighter and breathable. Overall I am please with my crochet bucket hat.
As usual, sometimes it is heard to fiind the exact yarn depending on where you live. Below are some comparable yarns you can use to as a substitute to Bernat Baby Softee Yarn:
Bernat Softee Cotton, Caron Cotton Cakes, Hobbii Acacia, and Lion Brand LB Collection Cotton.
