Morning Glory Spring Top

Inspiration

This top is something I made without a real plan. Well, I had thought of what I wanted to make, but did not have any idea of exactly how I wanted to make it before life happened. We lost my mother-in-law and had to travel out of the country for three weeks. So when I came back, I contemplated postponing the release of the pattern, but then I thought since I had made a promise, I would try my best to honor it. I, therefore, decided to use this pattern that I was familiar with. After making and frogging several times, I finally came up with this top Thank God for the jetlag. Whenever I lost sleep due to time change, I would just wake up and start to work on it.

Yarn

I used Knitpicks Cotlin Reflections 70% Tanguis Cotton, 30% Linen 246 yds ( 225 m)/100g (3.5 oz). Thanks to WeCrochet for the yarn support.

This is a Dk weight yarn perfect for spring and summer tops. The top is light making it you comfortable in spring as well those hot summer days. I love how it turned out and I can’t wait for it to get warmer so that I can start wearing it.
