Must-Have Men’s Beanie
Inspiration
This crochet hat beanie is one of those projects I made without prior planning. I was sitting in the airport with my flight delayed on Christmas day and by chance, I had the leftover yarn from my Christmas projects. I have always wanted to make something with my country’s flag colors and I was surprised that the yarn colors I had were perfect except I did have yellow instead of white.
Based on the amount of yarn I had and the time I thought I will be in the airport, I decided to make a quick and easy crochet hat.
This hat was done in a few hours. I had to sit in the airport for more than 12 hours and was able to be with family just before midnight on Christmas Day
The hat is simple and easy to make using a one-row repeat.

Yarn
I used Lion Brand Basic Stitch Anti-pilling and Big Twist Living Anti-pilling which I have used before and loved the final products. This is a worsted weight (4) Acrylic yarn. Both yarns are easy to work with.
If you are unable to find this yarns you can use your preferable worsted weight Acrylic yarn.
If by any chance you can’t find this yarn, you can use Big Twist Yarns Natural Blend, Stylecraft Swift Knit, Yarn Bee Effortless Super Bulky, Hobbii Umami, and Mary Maxim Starlette Chunky.

Finishing off
Fasten off leaving a log tail yarn of approximately 6”.
With a tapestry needle and using the long tail yarn, sew around the remaining stitches in a zigzag manner and pull to tighten. Sew it together and weave in ends.
