Trendy Toddler Pants
It was fun designing these Crochet Unisex Pants. It makes it so easy to make it since the only thing you have to worry about is choosing the color for either a boy or a girl and you are good to go. The pants come in sizes from 3 months to 24 months. These pants were inspired by the birth of a very special grandchild in our family. I say special because he was born on the day we lost my dad two years prior.

All in all, crochet for babies and children is one of my passions. It gets even better when I hear someone is expecting a baby. I immediately start constructing in my mind what I am going to make for the baby. It gets even better when I know the sex of the baby.
Unfortunately for my nephew who lives in Kenya, there is no technology or the luxury of knowing what the sex of your baby is until birth. Well, unless you can afford the top hospitals. That is why I decided to make unisex pants for the baby.
These pants are my first step towards my desire to help underprivileged children in Kenya. Since the cause is towards children, I thought it would be better to use a percentage of patterns made for children to help other children. If it is possible to help just one child to stop the cycle of poverty in their family through my God-given gift it would be all worth it.
The Yarn
I used the Baby Bee Sweet Delight Yarn. To me, this yarn is perfect for babies. It is very soft to the touch and has a soothing effect on the skin. The weight is also perfect for the weather where our grandbaby lives, especially for those chilly mornings and evenings.
I got the yarn from our local Hobby Lobby
