Cozy Throw Pillow Cover
Crochet For Me!
Now that the holidays are over, it is time to crochet something for yourself. I know you have been busy making things for family and friends before Christmas, and now it is time to relax and treat yourself to something that you have always longed to make for yourself.
Lucky you as you do not need to look too far. Crochet For Me Bundle hosted by Marie Segares of Underground Crafter and Mary Beth of Hooked for Life has already done the work for you. Talented top designers have come together and shared 25 patterns! You are covered from top to bottom, All you have to do is choose one or several patterns and make them for yourself.
The best part is that none of these patterns have been shared before for free. They are either brand-new or premium patterns and not blog re-treads. See below for patterns shared.
The bundle consists of 25 patterns for only $17. That is less than 70 cents per pattern. But the offer is only available through December 31, 2022, 11:59 PM Eastern, and it absolutely will not be extended nor repeated.

Inspiration
Why green and yellow crochet pillow cover? Well, these colors remind me of my childhood. These were the colors of my primary school uniform. I have always wanted to make something that reminds me of that time. Something that I can use daily to remember those early days in my life. When I did not have to worry about anything but just be a child.
Being part of the Crochet for Me Bundle sale has given me that opportunity. I decided that it was time. I am now able to fulfill my wish and crochet something that has real meaning to me. As I relax on the sofa watching my favorite show, relax on the bed, on the porch, or by the pool, I will always be reminded of my childhood growing up in a small village in Kenya. This will always remind me of where I came from and how blessed I am to be where I am now.
This is my first rectangular pillow cover to make. If you prefer a cover for your square cover, see below
Purchasing individual patterns will cost you $155. And by buying from a coalition of designers like this instead of a big publisher, you know that your money is going where it’s needed – into the pockets of your favorite designers so they can keep on creating the patterns you love to make. So spend some of that holiday cash, support the community that you love, then put your feet up and knit something fabulous for yourself as you watch 2022 go out the door! You deserve it!

Yarn
I used Big Twist Value Yarn 100% Acrylic, which is a worsted weight yarn. I have used this yarn for several projects and I like it. It soft and coy and becomes even more softer after washing. I love it also because there are so many colors to choose from
You can use your favorite weight 4 yarn. If you can’t find this yarn and you want to use a comparable yarn you can substitute with Bernat Super Value, Premier Yarns Just Tweed, Loops and Threads Impeccable, Herrschners Worsted 8, or Big Twist Yarns Heather.
